AMO’s CCBF Outcomes Report Released
The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) has released its latest Outcomes Report showcasing the investment of the Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF) in Ontario.
In 2025, AMO collected and analyzed data for projects completed by Ontario municipalities in 2024, which amounted to more than $770 million. Significant outcomes were achieved including the renewal, expansion, or purchase of:
- 4,300 lane-kilometres of roads - facilitating movement of more than three million Ontarians
- Affordable recreation facilities resulting in an annual increase of more than 62,000 registered users
- 155 transit vehicles – enhancing accessibility across five public transit systems
- and much more…
The report further highlights the success of Ontario’s municipalities in managing one-trillion dollars’ worth of infrastructure and how municipalities are using the funds to support housing.
