Brampton Revitalizes Community Space and Youth Hub

Century Gardens Youth Hub is a newly designed space for young residents of Brampton to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities and get access to health, education, and career services.

The revitalization of the 12,500-square-foot space is made possible by a $1.6 million investment from the Canada Community-Building Fund.

A youth consultation process informed the design, which includes indoor game areas, creative arts programming, a lounge, access to support services, and outdoor amenities like an amphitheatre and community garden. There are also built-in features that make the space more inviting like comfortable seating, designated spaces for quieter and louder activities, and more.

This is the second Youth Hub created by the City of Brampton after previous success at the Susan Fennell complex. Both projects aim to “create a safe space where youth from all walks of life can connect with each other, inspire ideas and access community supports to develop to their fullest potential.”
