Brockville Arts Centre Shines Bright Under New Stage Lights
A strong arts and culture scene is essential for a complete and thriving community.
Brockville’s Arts Centre is home to dance, music, theatre, and other local performance groups, of which some have been active in the community for more than 60 years. The 710-seat municipal venue is an anchor of local tourism, and new upgrades boost the production level for all events while easing staff use.
A $56,000 CCBF investment contributed to modernization of the facility including replacing stage light fixtures at the end of their useful life with new LED fixtures. The upgrades allow for remote device management and use of colour mixing technology during performances, as well as improving energy-efficiency.
After the project was completed, the City saw an increase in events and users of the facility compared to previous years. This upward trend helps make the City more vibrant and a great place to live, work, and play.
