Clarington Refurbishes Public Square

Outside of Clarington’s Municipal Administrative Centre in Bowmanville, Veteran’s Square has completed renovations to create a new accessible public space.

The square is home to several community events including Bowmanville’s Remembrance Day service. Residents now have access to better seating, an improved event area, a smoother walking surface, and accessibility features like tactile indicators. 

The Municipality receives more than $3.3 million each year from the Build Communities Strong Fund Community stream, part of which was dedicated to funding these upgrades.
