East Gwillimbury Strengthens Road Network

The Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF) provides essential funding for municipalities across Ontario to build and enhance infrastructure that connects communities.

In 2025, East Gwillimbury completed $2.1 million worth of transportation network improvements across the Town. More than 2.7 kilometres of road was rehabilitated, enhancing safety and comfort for residents as well as longevity of the infrastructure.

Through the hard work of the Town’s public works team, this federal funding has enabled East Gwillimbury to achieve long-term planning goals that keep the community moving.
