Efficiency Upgrades at Water Treatment Plant in Haldimand County
Dunnville, Ontario knows its environment well and has a 15m long statue of a catfish named “Muddy the Mudcat” to show it.
The Town is located near Lake Erie and the Grand River, which are great spots for fishing, but more importantly provide essential sources of drinking water to the community.
Haldimand County invested $408,000 in CCBF funding to upgrade Dunnville’s water treatment plant, ensuring residents and businesses have uninterrupted access to high quality, clean drinking water.
The upgrades increase the facility’s efficiency and long-term reliability through the reconstruction of areas with aging concrete and performance improvements to the filtration and drainage systems.
It’s the type of CCBF investment that even the catfish in Grand River appreciate.
