Fresh Courts Revitalize Recreation in Perth
Conlon Farm Complex is the centre of recreation in the Town of Perth. Newly resurfaced tennis and pickleball courts modernize the facility and give residents an outdoor space to play.
Along with many other sports fields and courts, a splash pad, and a skate park, the tennis and pickleball courts are well used.
This $68,000 investment from the CCBF restored cracked and worn surfaces using a high-strength fiberglass membrane that lasts a lot longer than traditional asphalt. It allows players to be confident in their footing while enjoying fresh air and friendly competition.
During the process, the opportunity to fit in an additional pickleball court was noticed and integrated into the design. With how busy the courts are, it made a big difference.
The tennis and pickleball courts are some of the only ones in the municipality, so having them in good shape allows them to be enjoyed to the fullest extent by the community.
