HVAC Upgrades at Woodstock Police Station

The Town of Woodstock used $30,000 from the CCBF to improve the energy systems and safety features at the local police station, deemed necessary due to the age of the existing infrastructure.

Woodstock is one of more than 50 communities in Ontario that operate a municipal police force. Woodstock’s police station is a central hub for its 85 officers.

The HVAC system in the station’s garage received much needed upgrades, which are expected to provide 10-15 per cent savings in energy use. Along with improved conservation and reduction in emissions, other benefits include enhanced safety features and interconnectivity with other safety systems in the facility.

The CCBF supports municipal projects like this one with the goal of building and improving communities where Ontarians can thrive and have a high quality of life.
