New Amenities at Lakewood Park in Tecumseh

The new amenity plaza at Lakewood Park in Tecumseh has quickly become a community favourite.
Federal investment through the BCSF Community Stream helped upgrade the park as part of a $4.25 million project.

The park now features an all-ages water feature, all-season washroom, pavilion, event plaza, food truck area, bocce courts, and enhanced lighting for year-round enjoyment. 

The interactive "misting forest" has been especially popular with families and pets, while new activities such as Tai Chi and live music are bringing residents together in exciting ways. More than 1,000 residents attended the grand opening celebration. 

Building on existing amenities such as walking trails, outdoor fitness equipment, and manicured green space, these additions create even more opportunities for recreation, wellness, and social connection. 

Lakewood Park continues to evolve into a vibrant and inclusive destination for residents of all ages and abilities.
