New Capacity for a Growing Community in Papineau-Cameron 

As Ontario’s population grows, communities across the province are investing in expansions of essential services. 

Papineau-Cameron is using a more than $390,000 investment from the Build Communities Strong Fund Community stream to establish a new landfill.

This is an essential project for the Township since the existing landfill is reaching full capacity. 

After extensive planning and various evaluations including biological, geological, and archaeological studies, work is now underway at the new site.
