New Road Enabling New Housing in Kingston

Kingston is using the BCSF Community Stream to invest in construction of a new road that is enabling more than 700 new homes. 

Cataraqui Woods Drive has been extended to connect Sydenham Road to Centennial Drive, creating a new route through the city’s west end. 

It includes new sidewalks, bike lanes, and connects to existing active transportation routes including the K&P Trail. 

Funding for this project included more than $1 million from the BCSF Community Stream, helping deliver this key infrastructure that improves mobility and supports growing communities. Kingston uses the majority of its $8.7 million yearly funding allocation for road rehabilitations and related infrastructure.
