New Road Is Good Business For Niagara Falls

The City of Niagara Falls invested CCBF funding in replacing an aging overpass with a new road.

The new section of Robinson Street has been constructed to better serve the area by creating a more open space with clear visibility of adjacent businesses and tourist attractions.

It replaces an overpass which spanned a railway corridor which is no longer in use.

The project also includes the construction of a new watermain and services.

Also, improvements and upgrades to the existing storm water drainage system are being carried out.

Sidewalks being installed on both sides of the new road will accommodate pedestrian traffic and link private developments with tourist attractions.

As well as the benefits to local business, replacing the overpass means the City no longer has to maintain a redundant structure.
