Paving the Way: New CCBF Resources

Wednesday morning of AMO 2025 kicked off with a lively breakfast session that showed off new resources from the Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF). The session brought together municipal leaders, planners, and community advocates over coffee and conversation. 

The presentation provided insights into innovative CCBF investments that helped communities meet long-term goals and deliver lasting benefits to residents. Participants shared feedback with AMO’s CCBF team and took home stickers and information sheets detailing good communications practices.

The CCBF team unveiled new tools that streamline reporting and enhance transparency. An updated project map promotes outcomes of the fund, improvements to the allocations page provide a more user-friendly experience, and new maps showing Housing Needs Assessments and Asset Management Plans (to be made public soon) create convenient centralized resources. There’s nothing like a “spoonful” of the CCBF in your coffee to kick off a meaningful and action-inspiring day at the AMO Conference.
