Restored Gazebo Transforms Gore Bay Waterfront

A focal point of the Gore Bay community has been renewed using a $37,000 investment from the CCBF.

Ron McQuarrie Gazebo provides an accessible gathering place for residents and visitors, and is a hosting place for local events. It is significant to the Town’s cultural and social landscape, promoting recreation, fitness, and tourism.

Upgrades to the structure in 2024 enhanced the visual appeal and made it both more functional and durable. The roof was replaced, the gazebo was refurbished with a fresh coat of stain, and lighting and railings were improved. The Gazebo is now safer, more accommodating, and can remain a vibrant hub for outdoor activities for years to come.
