Rural Road Being Restored in Grand Valley

A roadway assessed to be in poor condition in the Town of Grand Valley was a priority CCBF project in 2022 and 2023.

Concession Road 8-9 between Sideroad 27-28 and Sideroad 24-25 was identified as being in poor condition in the Town’s asset management plan – specifically a section of the roadway where the surface and culverts needed to be replaced. 

Work will help improve overall safety on the road and help with run-off water drainage. The road is in rural Grand Valley, a small community with with farms and residential areas. This project will improve the safety of that section of road for all users, including cars, trucks, farm equipment and heavy machinery.
