Vaughan Kicks Off Season with Upgraded Sports Fields

Vaughan Grove Sports Park is home to several outdoor soccer fields, baseball diamonds, bocce courts, and more.

The City of Vaughan invested more than $2.5 million from the CCBF to upgrade the facility including new artificial soccer turf that meets FIFA international standards. 

Other upgrades involved installing new protective fencing, enhancing field drainage, adding new walkway connections, installing a digital score board, and adding benches and shelters. 

These upgrades, in particular the new turf, elevate the facility to a higher standard that improves player experience and extends the length of the playing season.
