Vital Rehabilitation Completed on County Roads in Lennox and Addington

The Canada Community-Building Fund assisted the County of Lennox and Addington with upgrades to two roadways in 2021.

The County dedicated more than $2.6 million in CCBF funds to it’s Hot Mix Program, rehabilitating 10 kilometres of roads on two sections of County Road and the entirety of County Road 21.

Upgrades included drainage and culvert replacements, curb and gutter installation, road widening, and geometric improvements at intersections to improve sight lines. The project also included improved safety features such as steel beam guide rails and paved shoulders.

Through annual re-surfacing projects, Lennox and Addington provides residents and commuters safer and more durable roadways.
