Work Is Underway on Hamilton’s New Greensville Library

The City of Hamilton is building a brand new library in Greensville with support from the Canada Community-Building Fund.

The 3,400-square-foot facility will open in the Spring of 2021, as part of a partnership with Hamilton Public Library and Hamilton Wentworth District School Board.

Greensville Library will be part of a community hub, which includes an elementary school, community centre and daycare.

The library features community rooms with a kitchenette, meeting rooms, children’s area, reading lounge and outdoor reading space.

The City of Hamilton believes this important new community hub will increase library usage in the area and help grow the next generation of readers.
